SARAH MILLER

Physiotherapist

MPT, BSC

After Sarah graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science, she went on to attain a Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2021. She became interested in Physiotherapy during her many years of playing competitive soccer. After sustaining an injury, she was exposed to a profession that blended everything she loves, helping others, working with people, and physical activity. She continues to stay active in her spare time by playing soccer and attending bootcamps.

Sarah’s mind is always open when meeting new clients and believes that, like people, every treatment plan should be different and cater to the individual in front of her. Sarah likes to incorporate manual therapy and exercise in her approach to treatment and believes in working together as a team. Other interests of hers are neurological rehabilitation, including stroke and brain injury, as well as offering Physiotherapy to people in their home.

Sarah completed the NDT introductory course in the Management and Treatment of Adults with Hemiplegia. She has also completed the Level 1 Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy exam as well as the Level 2 lower quadrant advanced manual therapy course through the Orthopedic Division. She plans to further her education and continue learning through more post-graduate courses and certifications.
